Hello SM, I have been looking through these two above links but it's all
'greek' to me since I am a novice to all of these compilation language
but I am good at following tutorials.

I have install the opendkim from a tutorial at
but impliment things to my Debian (apt-get) and in my various tests I
can see headers such as:

Original message:

Authentication-Results:; dkim=permerror

X-DKIM: OpenDKIM Filter v2.0.1 xxxxxxxxxxx 5B798238D2A
DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed;;
        s=mail; t=1314418519;

but in Gmail and some other test sites I see this: Authentication-Results:; spf=pass ( domain of designates as permitted sender); dkim=neutral (bad format) which tells me that thing are not right and that I might be missing something here for debian configuration.

Many Thanks
