getopt_long(3) is a function from GNU libiberty.
There're BSD implementations in NetBSD(1.5+), OpenBSD(3.3+),
FreeBSD(5.0), and OS X.
 # probably DragonFly and MirOS have it, too.
But I doubt other non-GNU unices, such as HP-UX, SunOS, Tru-UNIX,have it.
