The problem for the textual representation of IPv6 address was the
different representations (RFC 5952). There's also the ":" which is
used in URIs as a separator for the port number. BTW, that case does
not arise for OpenDKIM. I took a quick look and could not find any
"standard" on square brackets being required for textual
representation of an IPv6 address. inet_ntop() adheres to RFC 2373.
